What is a Bonus Buy (Feature Buy)?
A bonus buy — also called a feature buy — is an option in some slots to pay a fixed multiple of your stake (often 100x) to jump straight into the bonus round instead of waiting for it to trigger naturally.
The maths
Bonus buys usually have their own RTP, sometimes slightly higher than the base game, but the variance is brutal: you are paying a large stake for one shot at a feature that may pay little. It concentrates risk into single, expensive spins.
A word of caution
Bonus buys burn a bankroll fast and are restricted or excluded from most bonus wagering. Treat them as high-risk entertainment, set a hard limit, and never chase.
